Oh my GOODNESS

OH MY GOODNESS!! I can’t even believe this is what’s on my loom or that I’m the one weaving it! It’s SO gorgeous!! I’m SO STINKIN’ excited!!!! I’ve only done one repeat of the pattern, but I’m completely ecstatic about how it looks so far! I can’t wait til it’s DONE!!!! Also it’s really soft and wonderful. Yup. I’m happy. I want to make a million.

  1. I LOVE IT!!! I'm only part way through threading and now I can't wait to finish and get to weaving! Do you have a good tutorial for the stitch you did on the ends? I can't figure out how to do it like we did on the linen table runner in class. Also I have NO Idea what I'm using for my tabby shots!

  2. I found this tutorial and it's how I do it. I checked a couple of other sites and their directions were confusing. I also looked at a video on youtube but it was upside down. booooo. try here:http://mavenknits.com/how-to-do-woven-hem-stitch/I'm LOVING how it looks! It's going to weave up really fast and I'm going to be sad when it's over. I'll probably tie on and make another one. I'm using the orange (spice) from my warp and it looks good. It blends in well. If I DO make another one, I may try warp and weft stripes like she does in the project on Weavezine. I can't wait to see yours once you're done threading and ready to weave! Take lots of pictures! 🙂
